(G.V.): Do you have any fears?
(F.P.): I had a lot of fears as a child, like fear of thunderstorms, a strong fear of spiders, darkness, etc.
(G.V.): Did you overcome all these fears?
(F.P.): Yes, I think so, even the fear of darkness. It was not that long ago, ever since I was at a retreat.
(G.V.): What did you do there?
(F.P.): Praying.
(G.V.): What year was that?
(F.P.): 1987.
(G.V.): Until that time you had a tremendous fear of the dark? (F.P.): I was afraid of walking alone at night. I was always frightened that somebody might be following me.
(G.V.): You’ve been married twice?
(F.P.): Yes.
(G.V.): Do you have normal sexual desires?
(F.P.): Yes, if I’m in harmony with my partners.
(G.V.): Are there times when you fight with your partner?
(F.P.): For the last few months there haven’t been any fights, but there were a lot before.
(G.V.): You used the plural form of partners. Do you have several husbands at the moment?
(F.P.): No, no, no! (laughs) It was just the same in my first mar-riage and in my second.
(G.V.): Did you have any affairs in between?
(F.P.): Yes. I only enjoyed this a short time; it brought back my self-confidence.
(G.V.): Because the first time you had problems?
(F.P.): I had many problems.
(G. V.): And you decided finally to say good-bye to the marriage? (F.P.): Yes, I was the one who made the decision, it was too much. I am still very proud of myself for having made that decision. And above all I am proud of the fact that there was no one in the background who helped me come to that decision. I made the decision on my own.
