(G.V.): Is your breath offensive?
(F.P.): No.
(G.V.): When you wake up frightened, is it always that you fear you will die, or is it as if somebody is coming to get you?
(F.P.): It’s always that I think I am going to die, but it doesn’t last very long. Usually I think that it’ll go away again. Sometimes I cry out for my son – I live alone with my son – but he sleeps deeply, so he doesn’t hear me. I cry out anyway. Afterwards I feel better, if only for a very short time. I switch on the light and I get up and go into the bathroom and come back. Sometimes I take drops for my circulation. This can happen maybe twice a night.(G.V.): Why didn’t you mention that when I asked you if you had any fears?
(F.P.): I didn’t remember that at the moment.
(G.V.): Is there anything else that you are afraid of that you did not mention?
(F.P.): I’m afraid of flying.
(G.V.): Can you lift your trousers so that I can see your feet? (F.P.): The hair on my legs has grown during the last two years. (G.V.): How do you feel sexually? Do you have a desire for sex? (F.P.): Yes.
(G.V.): Always?
(F.P.): Not during the time I spent with my husband, not at all. (G.V.): Did you desire other men when you were with your hus-band?
(F.P.): No, not at all.
(G.V.): Are you sure?
(F.P.): Yes! I lived without any sort of sexual contact for many years.(G.V.): Then what happened with your husband? How did you have your son if you didn’t have sexual contact?
(F.P.): It was one time after I felt good about my skin. I had undergone treatment in a clinic and my skin was good and I felt better than I had for years, so I decided to have a child. I hadn’t thought then about leaving my husband. Our encounter was my decision, and it was the first time we had intercourse.
