(G.V.): When did the weakness start? Does it only come during headaches, or do you feel weak at other times too?
(F.P.): Before the headaches start.
(G.V.): Does that mean that you experienced weakness three years ago?
(F.P.): I’ve always had trouble with my blood circulation and weakness and fainting. Before the headaches began I often had attacks of weakness.
(G.V.): When did the weakness start?
(F.P.): Oh, I think I’ve had it all my life, at least since I was ten years old. Now I don’t feel that weak anymore, just very exhausted.(G.V.): Is your father still alive?
(F.P.): No.
(G.V.): When did he die?
(F.P.): He died six years ago.
(G.V.): Did you grieve deeply when he died?
(F.P.): Yes, in one way, but it was good for him, I think.
(G.V.): Why?
(F.P): He was ill and suffered with his cardiac asthma. He died very suddenly without having to suffer any further.
G.V.): Did you cry when he died?
(F.P.): Yes.
(G.V.): A lot or very little?
(F.P.): I was very sad for a long time.
(G.V.): Sad, yes, but did you cry?
(F.P.): A little, not too much.
(G.V.): You were very sad, but you did not cry. Couldn’t you cry, or didn’t you want to cry?
(F.P.): I cried a little but not too much. I cry more the older I get. When I was young I cried very little or not at all. Now I cry more.(G.V.): Can you describe your character?
(F.P.): That’s difficult. I think that as a child I was very calm and introverted. Now I am more open.
(G.V.): Can you talk about your problems with others?
(F.P.): Yes, I’ve learned to.
