illness. Praying should be viewed as a symptom when the person prays very often and very intensely, or when the person feels that he cannot live without prayer. I remember the case of a boy in India with swelling of the testes. He had this swelling for years, for which he received several different remedies prescribed by professors at a college in India. Finally, in despair, he came to me and asked me to help him. I talked to him for a while, and then I thought of Aurum. I asked:
(G.V.): What is your religion?
(Boy): I am Christian.
(G.V.): Do you pray?
(Boy): Yes, I pray. (very dramatic)
(G.V.): Why do you say it that way?
(Boy): I do not know, I have not talked about it with anybody. I just go to my room, kneel down and pray; not for five minutes or ten, but for an hour or two at a time! I feel that I need to do that. Aurum was the remedy. It took away the swelling, the pain, eve-rything. That kind of information is very, very important. Now, the next thing I am going to ask our patient is naturally; How much has his religion affected his relationships?

(G.V.): You cry out of pain, but are you desperate about it? (M.P.): In these moments yes, because I have no idea how I can stop it, I cannot do anything about the pains.
(G.V.): Can you describe for me what you do when it gets that bad? Do you just sit there or lie down? Are you restless, or do you walk around and cry, moan? How do you cry? Do you sob, or do you scream?
(M.P.): Yes, because the pain comes in waves.
