These seminars were realised with the initiative of Dr. Beat Spring in Bern. The main target was to show the way of taking the case and then the analysis and the synthesis of the information in order to find the correct remedy. But the most important point was to demonstrate to the students the follow ups which was showing the effectiveness from the treatment.
These seminars represent my first attempt to give to the Swiss homeopaths the information I had accumulated until that time from studying of thousands of cases and the thirty years of experi-ence I had by that time concerning Classical Homeopathy. It was an attempt to show to the interested students the way of Classical Homeopathy giving one remedy at a time and evaluating the results. As I had taught always in my lectures from the very beginning of my practice in the early sixties, each patient needs only one rem-edy at any given time but this has to be the correct one. All other remedies will be useless or even harmful if repeated too frequently.
In order to help the homeopath in such a difficult task I was try-ing to give the method and the tools, necessary to make easier their work in finding the correct remedy, the similimum as it is called.
When I first came in contact with homeopathy, the only mode of treatment that was available at the end of fifties (1959) was poly-pharmacy in the form of specialities.
