(G.V.): You see, on the one hand he goes towards Arsenicum, but on the other we have trouble confirming Arsenicum. Are you fastidious? No. Are you thirsty? No. What is happening here? Do you see? It is not yet easy to get the remedy.

(M.P.): I don’t drink much at all; I like warm drinks, like tea. (G.V.): Do you drink a lot of tea?
(M.P.): Not really, about three, four cups a day, something like that.

(G.V.): He is also a person who waits and sees what happens. He is not a person who volunteers much information, at least that is my impression so far and probably yours as well. This means that, most likely, he has not yet described the true nature of the state he can be in. He might be in a very difficult, in a panicky state, but he does not describe it, he waits. Therefore, what is the remedy? It is not Phosphorus, and it is very close to Arsenicum. Then you learn that he is not thirsty, and if he drinks, it’s warm drinks; so, is he Lycopodium because of the warm drinks? Does Lycopodium desire company? Yes, he wants company, he just wants somebody around, which doesn’t mean necessarily that he needs to be held. If he wanted someone to hold him, the remedy is not Phosphorus, for the reasons I mentioned before. Arsenicum also wants someone near them in order to feel secure, but the remedy is not Arsenicum.

(M.P.): I had diagnosed orthostatic proteinurea at the same time, it was about ten years ago. And the last year or so, maybe the last two years, my weight has come down to…
(G.V.): Although you eat well?
(M.P.): Well, I don’t eat a great deal; I’ve got an amazing appe-tite, but I don’t seem to put weight on.
