You see, these principles have to be known very well, but they are still unknown to the medical schools and are still not taught, are still not accessible.

Q: “I would like to understand the chronic state of Aconite, concerning ailments from fright. Chronic Aconite compared to chronic Opium. How can I differentiate these two?”

G.V.: “Well, chronic Aconite and chronic Opium have no connection. The chronic Aconite state is a state of extreme fear, explosive fear. Aconite is an explosive remedy. Opium is a sedated remedy. It sedates the organism, makes it go to sleep.

Opium also can have a great anxiety which arises from fear. Let us say, an earthquake takes place, and some of us are extremely frightened. We go away from this experience, and some of us may have remaining symptoms.

Some of us will go into a Gelsemium state, some into Calcarea  carbonica , some into Aconite .
