Male Genitalia
Violent and continual erections; priapism. Complete loss of sexual power, testes diminished in size and consistency. The genitals become atrophic and erec- tions and pollutions, which he used to have, disappeared. Acute drawing pain in forepart of penis. Cutting drawing in corona glandis. Hydrocele. Testicles swollen and hard; very tender to touch; with drawing pain along spermatic cords upwards, worse on left testicle; with pressure and tension extending
into abdomen; fistulous openings on scrotum discharging turbid, watery fluid. Tubercles in testes and spermatic cords. Swelling of right testicle with pressive pain when touching or rubbing it; from 6 till 11 o’clock; pressive and tensive pain in right testicle as from contusion. Painless swelling of testicles. Crushed pain in testicles; in the evening in bed; even pressure of clothes increases pain on walking. Frequent dragging and pressure towards testicles, from 10 a.m. till evening. Aching, pressing or forcing pain in spermatic cords and testicles after flirting. Offensive perspiration of genitals.
Female Genitalia
Leucorrhoea: worse during menses, excoriating the thighs and corroding the linen; alternating with cough; thin, yellow; thick, yellow, burning; slimy, bloody. Retarded menses. Uterine hemorrhage with every stool, with cutting in the abdomen and pains in sacrum and loins. Vaginitis: heat and dryness of vagina, soreness sometimes with stinging pains, sensation of fullness in vagina. Dropsy of ovaries. Atrophy of ovaries and mammary glands with sterility. Great sensitiveness of right ovarian region during or after menses; pain commencing in right ovary passing down broad ligament to uterus; dull, pressing, wedge-like pain, as if a dull plug was driven from right ovary towards the womb. Pain in left ovarian region at about 3 a.m., better by motion and eating. Tumors of ovaries. Ovarian cysts, especially right. Induration and swelling of uterus and ovaries.
Metritis: congestion of uterus, after confinement, intense pain with very sensitive abdomen and continual urging to urinate. Labor-like spasms in the hypogas- trium after menses. Bearing down in genitals during stool. Cancerous degenera- tion in neck of uterus.
Respiratory tract
Intolerable crawling and tickling in larynx, which can only be removed by hawking and coughing, with gathering of water in mouth; in the morning in the bed. Tickling in air passages, worse in a warm room. Tightness and
constriction about larynx, with soreness and hoarseness. Swelling of larynx. Contraction and heat in larynx. Spasm of glottis worse from warmth. Laryngis- mus stridulus. Paralysis of laryngeal, tracheal and bronchial nerves in rachitis. Inflammation of larynx and trachea with hard croupy cough. Region of trachea smarting, with frequent lancinating pain. Sensation of rawness in larynx and bronchial tubes extending into chest, causing hawking and coughing. A con-
