A restless and morbid state, with a quivering motion from the gas-tric region toward the whole surface of the body, as if he was about to tremble or as if a general pulsation was about to break out, with a general increase of heat, seeming to come from the stomach; then a pressure in the cardiac region, a weight or the chest, with difficult breathing and acceleration of the pulse by seven or eight beats.
Twitching; subsultus of tendons of hands, arms, fingers and feet. The discharges of Iodine are acrid and excoriating. Oedematous swelling of the whole body; general dropsy of skin and abdomen.
The circulation is easily excited and accelerated. Throbbing in all arteries, violent ebullitions of blood. The heartbeat and pulse were synchronous. Pulse accelerated, full and hard; small, threadlike accelerated pulse; pulse so quick that it could hardly be counted. Violent palpitation and accompanying arterial excitement drives him out of bed and are temporarily relieved by cold bathing or application.
Symptoms aggravate in general by warmth, fasting, lying in bed, lying on painful side, pressure, at night and ameliorate by cold air and applications, by eating, by motion.
Food and drinks: Heavy food aggravates.
Usual physical Pathology:
Goitre; exophthalmic; facial paralysis or epilepsy after suppression of goitre. Enlarged, indurated glands with emaciation. Heart conditions where the main symptom is palpitations, strong and fast like Belladonna. Acute heart diseases. Addison’s disease. Tubercu- losis. Rheumatism. Anorexia nervosa with wrinkled skin, shrunken and emaciated face. Loss of appetite with subsequent marasmus. Impulsive insanity, manic depression.
Vertigo/Head
Vertigo: in the morning; with tendency to fall forward or to the left; worse lying on left side, warm room, stooping, during menses.
