a fall with jerkings or shooting pains. Frequent dry, hacking cough from irritation in the throat, worse by heat and cold air. Spells of short, barking cough. Whooping cough, worse from 6 to 10 p.m., with great nervous prostration. Expectoration of gelatinous mucus or much granular white mucus. Hawking of bright red bloody expectoration.
Chest
Anxiety in the chest, like shortness of breath. Tightness in the chest. Violent
stitches through the chest so that she has to hold the breath, at 5 p.m. Constant stitches from within outward, through the left chest and sternum, aggravated by motion. Stitches here and there beneath the right breast, in the evening. Shooting in ribs as if from a chill. Dull stinging in right pectoral muscles extending to back around ribs. Dull pressure, in thre right side of the chest, from seventh rib downwards, after breakfast. Pneumonia with bleeding hemorrhoids. Scirrhus of breast caused by injury. The heart feels as if it would fall down, in the evening.
Back
Cervical vertebrae very sensitive to touch. Injuries of coccyx and spine; with soreness upon pressure, shooting pains up the spine, down the extremi- ties and over the body, with convulsive movements, with inability to walk and needle – like pains in feet. Backache after delivery. Injury of coccyx during de- livery with slight soreness but strong nervousness. Meningeal troubles after injuries of the back with drawing of the muscles of the back and feelings
of contraction or tightening, with stitching, shooting pains in the back in all directions. Opisthotonos; lies on back with head jerking backward after injury of spine. Chills down the back.
Extremities
Crawling in hands and feet as if they were numb, they felt fuzzy. Compound fractures of hands and feet with great laceration of soft parts. Excruciating pain with fainting after amputation. Crushed fingertips and toes, lacera- tions of nails, with upward shooting pains. Panaritium. Dry herpetic eruption on outer side of arms, mainly right. Biting eruption like nettle – rash on both hands and between the fingers, with scratching until they get almost sore. Sciatica. Injury to sciatic nerve with sharp, cutting pains, darting along the course of nerve and terminating in a twisting or wrenching sensation in foot. Coxalgia after delivery. Rheumatism of knee with dropsical swelling around the joint, sharp and tearing pains, which are worse from least touch. Starting of legs on falling asleep.
Cramps in legs and feet on going to sleep. Jerking of toes on falling asleep. Feet feel as if pricked with needles and tingle while lying in bed.
Frequent biting stinging in toes. Paralyzed feeling in right foot and left arm alternating with tearing. Affections of joints, gout, rheumatism.
