Pain in right occipital protuberance
Boy, aged four and one – half, light air, blue eyes, pale face, of mild, mischievous disposition, had pneumonia when an infant; not been well since. Now has pain in right occipital protuberance.
Fluent, acrid, nasal coryza, swelling at the root of the nose, upper eyelid, upper lip; white ulcers in mouth; uvula elongated, pale; ap- petite for fat meat and sweet food; thirst for cold water at night; stomach distended after eating; eructations of fluid, then of food, more at night; constipation alternating with diarrhoea; cough con- stant, moist; moist rales in left lung;
feeble, vesicular respiration; upper part of left side of thorax dilated backward; curvature of spine between shoulders; agonizing dys- pnoea, could not lie in a recumbent position; cough constant from 12 m. till morning; sleeps with head thrown back; restless. The least exposure aggravates all the symptoms. After Ars. had been given without benefit, Hep. s. 30 helped at once and permanently in every respect.

Purulent sediment in the urine
Man, aged thirty. Two years ago commenced with pain in the kid- neys, constantly urging to urinate; later purulent sediment in the urine. Has been treated allopathically for two years. He is emaciated to skin and bone; renal region sensitive to slightest touch; incessant painful urging to urinate with voiding of a few drops of purulent urine. Violent fever with unquenchable thirst; colliquative diarrhoea and night sweats. Canth., Ruta, Uva ursi, Dig., Benz. ac., Puls., Bary, Natr. c., Phos. ac. had not the slightest effect. Hep. 6, cured in few weeks.
