Nose
Coryza with sneezing and runny nose on exposure to a cold wind. The nose is sensitive to inspired air. Sneezing from uncovering a part. Discharge of a watery and finally of a thick, yellow, offensive (sour or cheese – like) character sometimes tinged with blood. Heat and burning in nose, ulcerative pain in nostrils. Annoying obstruction of nose, worse after stool. Crusts and scabs in nostrils; interior of nose is painful and sensitive to air and touch. Draw- ing pain in nose passing into eyes. Raw feeling inside the nose on blowing it.
Scrofulous inflammation of the nose with loss of sense of smell. Coryza with inflammatory swelling of the nose, which pains like a boil. Subacute and chronic catarrh with copious discharge of mucus; postnasal catarrh. Abscesses in nose. Tensive headache above the nose. Pain in root of nose extending into forehead. Boring headache in the root of the nose, every morning from seven to twelve o clock. Sensation of a splinter in the root of the nose. Pain in the bones of the nose on touch. Violent pain in bony part of nose with thick muco – purulent discharge from one nostril, better in dry weather, worse on approach of rain or in changeable weather. Swelling and inflamma- tion of bones. Ozena, nose very sensitive to touch, with splinter – like pains; Loss of smell. Scurfy eruption in right half of the nose, extending down upon lip with a deep fissure, very sore and sensitive to touch.
Face
Very blue rings below the eyes. Heat in the face in the evening at seven o clock, at night. Chronic facial neuralgia extending in streaks into temple, ear, alae
nasi and upper lip, worse in open air, better by wrapping up warmly; Pain in (malar) bones extending to ears and temples, worse from touch, open air, better wrapping up the face. Sinusitis. Spasmus facialis, especially if caused by diseased bones or teeth. Acute inflammation of parotid gland with threatened suppuration. Chronic swelling of glands, suppurating with every cold. Absces in face. Great swelling of the upper lip very painful when touched. The lower lip is cracked in the middle. Lupoid ulceration of face, intolerant of touch, painful with every breath of air. Fungous growth on inferior maxillary with necrosis. Boils, on chin and lips, very painful to touch. Hard swollen cheek with a hard outgrowth the size of a walnut. Erysipelatous swelling of the cheeks. Acne: leaving scars; on forehead. Eczema, eruptions scurfy and very painful to touch. Humid herpes. Crusty pimples in young people. Impe- tigo. Eruption in the corner of the mouth, with sensation of heat in it. Ulcer in the corner of the mouth. A red itching spot below the lower lip, soon covered with a number of yellow vesicles, which pass into scabs.
Mouth/Teeth
Extremely offensive odour from the mouth like spoiled cheese with phagedenic ulcers. Putrid taste like that of rotten eggs. Bitter taste before or after chill. Coat-
