Large, corpulent women of venous constitution, who are subject to skin eruptions, which itch and emit glutinous fluid.
Vertigo
Vertigo in the morning, on waking; looking upward; on rising from stooping. Vertigo when stooping, and afterward for several minutes, a tendency to fall forward, with nausea.
Vertigo, in the evening, with stupefaction; she had to lie down.
Vertigo from over-exertion of eyes by reading, sewing.
Head
Graphites is full of eruptions on the head and this should be the sign that will impress the remedy on you. There are many different kinds of eruption: a solid crust of scab and hair; watery pus dripping from under the crust or cap, or a hard scab with pus underneath.
Eczema on head and on neck behind the ears. Bald spots on top of head covered with the eruption, extending into the hair, matting it together by clear, watery, sticky discharge
Much dandruff on the head, causing a very troublesome itching, and causing scabs, which come off when the head is washed, and leave the parts humid.
Scaly eruptions, ameliorated by washing.
Scurfy spot on the crown, with violent pain as from excoriation, when touched.
Eczema capitis, of entire scalp, forming massive, dirty crusts, which mat the hair together; painful and sore to touch, cervical glands swollen and hard.
The old scurf on the hairy scalp detaches and begins to emit a foetid smell. Eruption on the crown, which hurts and becomes moist when touched. Intolerable itching all over body, followed by a moist eruption behind right ear. This eruption spread gradually upwards on right side of scalp, forming pustules, which discharged an acrid, sticky fluid. The hair stuck together, and finally fell off, leaving a bare spot behind, covered with a mealy dust and small crusts; felt aggravation after washing; is very sensitive to cold air; has chronic lachrymation and fluor albus.
