A case of lachrymal fistula on the left side, of one years’ duration, with a clear, yellow scab on the cheek, near the inner canthus, which is but slightly red and painful to pressure. Every three or four days it begins to itch, grow moist, then heals again; it is sometimes painful before it opens. Fluoric acid 30 cured.

In a case of chronic obstruction of the nose, with a dull heavy pain in the forehead, where Silic 30th, had been of some service, Fluorac. 30th, immediately caused a running from the nose, without any other improvement. The same in a case of ulceration.

In the year of 1896-7, while prescribing for a very sick patient, presumably inoculated with syphilis, during a period of nursing syphilitic patients in a ward devoted to cases of that dread disease, various points on parts of body, thinly covered with flesh, became ulcerative. These were shallow, ragged looking and very painful. Several careful prescriptions were made by both myself and Dr. K. of Boston without much improvement.
