and near the sutura interparietalis, and proceeds with the speed of lightning to the left temple near the exterior part of the orbital cavity; this pain shoots about for two seconds, but the undulation lasts a little longer, and it is only when the undulation is nearly over that the mind takes cognisance of the whole of it; the shooting and painful undulation and the speed, are of such a nature as to produce immediately in the mind a very disagreeable idea of some impending danger; the undulation may be best compared to that of the streak left on the wall, in darkness, by the friction of a match.’
A violent pressive pain in the left half of the head in the course of the coronal suture.
There is a sensation as if the back of the head were made of wood.
Dullness of the occiput only.
Violent occipital headaches, worse from motion.
Pressure on both sides of the occiput beneath the protuberances.
A cramp-like pain in the very lowest part of the occiput towards the left, in the morning, shortly after waking.
From the nape of the neck to the occiput, a feeling like a warm breath.
Eyes
Lachrymal fistula on left side, of one year’s duration; a clear yellow scab on cheek near inner angle, which is but slightly red and painful to pressure; every three or four days it begins to itch and grow moist, then heals again; sometimes painful before it opens.
Burning in the eyes.
Has often an itching in the eyes.
Violent itching at the left inner canthus of the eye, which causes him to scratch very quickly and forcibly.
Painful itching in the left eye, as if from a grain of sand.
Sensation of sand in eyes as if wind were blowing on them.
Chronic ophthalmia; feeling of sand in eye, must blink constantly.
Quivering externally in the right eyelid.
A pain, pressure, very deep in the posterior part of the right eye.
Heaviness above the eyes, with nausea; worse on motion.
Violent jerking internally behind and above the right eyebrow, in the bone.
