Between the scapulae a kind of tearing, even when sitting, which becomes worse on walking.
Pain in her left clavicle as if it had ‘gone to sleep’.
Whilst walking stitch-like jerks in the sacrum, which extend more towards the hips than upwards, more painful after sitting or standing.
Pain in the sacrum on rising from a seat.
Bruised pain in the sacrum.
Pain lumbar region, worse on beginning to move, better walking slowly.
Extremities
Rheumatic pains in the extremities, inflammation of joints ameliorated by heat and by gentle motion; aggravated by cold, by exertion, or by rapid motion. The joints mostly affected are the shoulder joints and the hip joints. Pains are constant, but aggravation of pain after midnight.
Tearing pains through the limbs.
The cramp draws the fingers and toes crooked with great pain.
Heaviness, exhaustion and relaxation of the limbs.
Restless when keeping still; must keep the limbs moving.
Rending pains in the limbs; dull aching in the limbs. These pass off when moving about quietly and gently, like Pulsatilla.
Drawing in the arm, as if paralyzed.
Creaking in the shoulder-joint.
Pain, shooting and tearing from the shoulder-joint into the upper arm and farther down, which made it impossible for him to lift up the arm.
A kind of paralysis; inability to raise the arms on account of painful tension between the scapulae and on the sternum. Inability to raise the arm; paralytic pains that is, pains that are benumbing. Pains that make him feel as if he were going to lose the power to move the part.
He cannot raise the right arm up; there is shooting and tearing in the shoulder- joint – which hurts as if bruised when touched – down through the upper arm, with creaking in the shoulder-joint.
Rheumatic pains in the deltoid muscle on either side. Pinching in the right deltoid; boring in the right shoulder; aggravated by motion and by the weight of the bed-clothes; ameliorated by heat, worse by cold, and worse in the night.
