Abdomen
Pressure at the right hypochondrium, in the right side of the liver.
Suddenly cutting pain in abdomen, worse while sitting, better when walking about and pressing the hands against the hips.
A ‘pressure from above downwards’, lasting several minutes, she is unable to stand; worse from warm drinking.
Strange sensations in the abdomen: sensation of a metallic tube, through which a column of liquid is poured into the abdomen; with violent rumbling; the bowel seems to be twisted and afterwards tied up, as by a knot, which violently draws together both sides of the abdomen.
Rectum and Stool
Evacuation of black blood with the stool, with violent abdominal pain as if the bowel were twisted.
Black, fluid blood comes from the anus.
Urinary Organs
Discharge of mucus from the urethra. Red urine, with cloudy sediment.
Vesical tenesmus with back pain and ice-cold feet.
Female Genitalia
Discharge of black blood between the menstrual periods; or menses every two or three weeks, with profuse dark blood.
Sensation as if something burst in the womb, followed by a continuous stream of dark-coloured blood, on attempting to urinate.
Epileptic fits before the menses, or after masturbation. The aura may consist in a definitely sexual feeling of pleasure that extends from the abdomen to the chest and stimulates her to hold her breath (compare Müller, AHZ 1-2/1997).
