manipulated under the pretext of concern. You will hear them say, “Nobody can tell me that I do not love my son”. Well, that may be true, but with what passion! They can go to the other extreme, where they ‘strangle’ the son through their over-protective love. Dulcamara is over-critical of others, always in a hurry, easily aroused sexually, amorous, with many nightmares and dreams of confusion and fright that force them to jump out of bed in a confused state. In the morning on waking they have their most difficult time, the mind seems dull, the feelings are dull, depression comes and it will take some time before they are ‘back in the land of the living’. They are irritable, critical, and abusive, but when the menses are approaching, their amorous nature increases and a kind of erotomania may manifest. They will use curse words, vulgar words or words or with sexual connotations without being angry, but just for the sake of it, like Anacardium or Nitric acid.
