Loss of sight with nausea and vertigo, especially in the open air.
Ears
A spasmodic twinge in the left ear, deep inside. Dragging towards both ears, with confusion of the head. Otorrhoea when there is much itching.
Momentary total loss of hearing in both ears; with nausea and vertigo.
Partial deafness, of the right ear.
Nose
Inflamed nose. Irritation of the nasal mucous membrane.
In a case described by Teste, a girl of four had suffered for two years from a foetid discharge from the nose, which lessened, but did not cease, in the winter and increased again in the summer. Before this she had had a vesicular eruption on the chest and neck, which disappeared on its own, followed in three or four days by the discharge. Teste was unable to relieve this state until he prescribed Croton, based on the indication of the earlier eruption. The remedy was a striking success.
Burning in the nostrils, especially in the right one, compelling him to rub.
Face
Formication; an illusory sensation as though insects were creeping on the face. Inflammatory affections of the skin of the face, affecting half or affecting the whole face.
Facial erysipelas with violent burning, swelling of the face; lids oedematous, swollen, saccular, covering the eye; blisters and vesicles around the eye, on the chin and in other places.
Symmetrical erythema of the face, with distinct heat of the skin. Lips dry and cracked, tensive, tight; burning of the lips.
