Dr. Sakina Murtaza shares a case of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis in a man of 51, managed with classical homeopathy.
This case report details the successful management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatitis in a 51-year-old male patient through classical homeopathy. The patient presented with frequent urination, burning pain during and at the end of urination, previously treated with an alpha blocker, which was discontinued due to significant side effects.
Following an in-depth analysis of his symptoms and medical history, a single dose of Digitalis Purpurea 200 was prescribed. In addition to relieving the symptoms of the pathologies, it also improved the overall quality of life of the patient, with no reported relapse during the follow-up period. This serves as a basis for further investigation to determine the advantages of classical homeopathy in managing BPH and prostatitis.
