people can go into alocholic states. For example, how would be the behaviour of a Medorrhinum who is a farmer, someone who deals with the earth? How about a Medorrhinum who works in an office, or as a scientist, or a banker? The expression will be different in every case; one will be very coarse, the other one will be very refined, etc. However, despite their differences in personal values, the inner tendency is the same. Medorrhinum tends to brag about their conquests. In many, life takes a toll on them and they become very religious.. Once Med-orrhinum enters a religious state they behave completely differ-ent: the flirtatiousness dies down. A devoutly religious person is usually considered to be very humble, not so with Medorrhinum. Instead, Medorrhinum’s passionate flitting around is exchanged for a passionate expression of their religious convictions. Med-orrhinum patients want to help. They will pray passionately for others, do all kinds of things, but it’s all very extroverted and showy: “I am a big preacher and I’m going to save your life. I asked myself, “What should I do?” I was with a woman, one of my first students, who was sitting next to me, and the General was telling us about spiritual things and what he does for the world and how spiritual he is. I thought to myself, “How can I ask him if he’s had gonorrhea?” If I ask him, “Have you ever had gonorrhea?” he will say, “No.” But I was sure that he was Medorrhinum; so, he most probably had gonorrhea by the time he was twenty or twenty-two. (He was sixty-five at the time.) I asked him, “Did you have gonorrhea at the age of
