How did I behave? When was I making a jealousy scene? And so on…
Now I will come to the pathology. It’s just like with drinking water. If someone says: “I am thirsty”, you don’t immediately look up the rubric “thirst” in the repertory. Because if one doesn’t drink water, one dies! But if you drink excessive amounts of water, have a bottle in your hand wherever you go and if you are constantly drinking, then this is pathology.
Excessive need for water is just as pathological as no need for water at all. If somebody says: “I don’t need any water at all”, something is wrong with the organism. It’s the same with jealousy: when jealousy becomes overwhelming and illogical, it becomes pathology. Then it makes you suffer without a real reason. We will be examining such states of pathology.
I would like you to first look at the rubric “jealousy” in the repertory.

If you look at this rubric, you will see two remedies prominently: Lachesis and Hyoscyamus. The third immediate remedy is Nux vomica, it’s in third degree.
Lachesis and Hyoscyamus have been raised to fourth degree. Totally illogical and pathological states.
