parietal protuberance, causing him to bend down his head. Shooting pains in temples, generally right, with constricted feeling in the scalp. Pain shoots like an electric shock from right temple to left side of occiput with depression of spirits and debility.
Pustules on top of the head as large as a three – cent piece; the pustule is situ- ated upon an inflamed base of a rose color, with red streaks, running from one to another; they contain yellow matter and are very tender to the touch. Tinea capitis: the whole top of head appars as one complete scab with yellow matter oozing from under the crust, which has matted the hair together; the left ear is covered with eruption that gathers every two weeks and discharges a yellow greenish pus; nume ous yellow pustules scattered over scalp, each pustule containing a hair.
Eye
Severe burning pain in the internal canthus of the right eye. Redness of the con- junctiva, as if from cold. Profuse flow of tears. Chronic inflammation of eyelids.
Face
Severe neuralgic pains in the right side of the face involving the supra
– and infra – orbital, the superior maxillary and the inferior dental nerves, on waking or beginning after breakfast, with violent stupid or stunning headache and general malaise; afterwards dull soreness where the neuralgia had been. Expression of great anguish. Sunken eyes with blue circles. Dry, cracked lips. Intense itching of the face as if she could tear it to pieces, worse when warm from exercise, at 11 a.m.. Pustular eruptions on face, around nose, lips and cheeks; secreting a sanious, irritating matter. Eczema of face.
Mouth/Teeth
Feeling of a greasy coating over mouth and tongue, early in the morning. Mouth and stomach feel on fire, as though they had been scalded, with profuse flow of saliva, tongue is thick and rough, at 4 a. m. Stomatitis, with painful burning in mouth and fauces. Ulcers on mucous membrane of cheeks. Great feeling of rawness of palate just behind the front teeth extending down to throat, worse from hot or cold drinks, eating and especially from eating onions or cheese, after eating cherries in the morning, touching with tongue; also a feeling as if the skin of that part were hanging loose. Profuse flow of saliva, constant discharge of ropy saliva dropped from the mouth during conversation. Salivation after diphtheria with swelling of parotids. Salivation, first of tough mucus hawked from throat, which presented a dark appearance and afterwards a profuse, watery discharge from the whole buccal cavity, clammy, greasy sensation in mouth, with bilious coating on root of tongue. Tongue coated white; feels thick at 7 a.m. Dental neuralgia, worse in a warm room.
