towards the trunk with crawling and numbness. Injury to the brain and spinal cord or ill effects from such injuries. Punctured or pen- etrating wounds, very sensitive to touch. Wounds are more ten- der than appearance would indicate, very painful sore parts. Injured nerves from bites of animals. Tingling, burning and numbness, with neuritis. Tearing pains. Convulsions after injuries. Shudderings. Jerking of limbs. Tetanus. Relieves pain after operations. Ill effects of fright, bites, shocks. Aggravated by foggy weather, by cold and cold air.
Food and drinks: Desire for warm drinks, wine and pickles.
Head
Complaints from injuries to the head, concussion of brain, fractured skull. Severe bone pains in cranium. Headache with sore eyes after a fall. Sensation as if being lifted up high into the air with headache after a fall upon occiput, tormented by the greatest anxiety that the slightest touch or motion would make her fall down from this height. Sensation as if the head became elongated; this is an excellent keynote if you can find it. Traumatic meningitis and encephalitis. Tearing stitches in brain. Headache as if the brain would be torn to pieces. Feeling as of something alive or a tickling in the brain at night in bed. Heaviness in the head, the brain feels compressed in the evening. Sensation in forehead as if touched by an icy cold hand in the afternoon, after which a spasmodic contraction is felt in right eye. Pressure on anterior and upper part of left frontal bone after breakfast. Slight stitches in the right side of the head, on exerting the eyes and head. Transient violent tearing in the right temporal region, with chilliness over the whole body, at 4 p.m. Dull shooting pain up left occipital nerve. Pressive pain in the occiput on motion. Violent throbbing in vertex, moving to cheeks and chin, where it changes to tingling, drawing pains. Fullness and pain with heat in vertex before waking. Pressing asunder sensation in the head, especially on vertex, a sensation of dull roaring, at 6 p.m. Throbbing in vertex and a feeling of heat in the head in the afternoon. Dull pain on vertex, gradually increasing as if the whole brain would be pressed asunder, with inability to perform any kind of labor. Beating on vertex in meningitis. Sleeps uneasy, throws head back and keeps on jerking it backwards. Falling of hair.
Eye/Vision
Injuries to the eyes like penetration, lacerations. Pain and irritation of eye. Tearing in the right eye in the evening. Neuralgic shooting backward in the eye- balls. Stye on lower left lid. Disturbed look, stares at people, eyes fixed, pupils dilated. Hypermetropia in the evening.
