Head/Vertigo
Vertigo from smell of flowers, gas etc.; staggers as if intoxicated.
Heaviness of the head and violent headache. Heat and formication in the head. Sensation as if water was swashing in head; as if the brain shook and splashed when walking.
Undulation in the brain as from violent beating of the arteries, with aching in the forehead, worse after stooping. Congestion of the brain. Inflammation of brain with unconsciousness, heat, tingling and violent pulsations like waves in head; head shakes; worse from becoming cold and after eating, better by bend- ing head forward and from heat. Hydrocephalus with stupor and shaking of head to and fro, with twitching motions. Concussion of brain, rolls head, snores and has hiccough.
Violent headache, especially over the eyes. Aching stupefying pain in the brain, especially in the forehead, with needle – pricks, especially on the left side, recurring alternately . The forehead feels full, as if screwed inward. Pressive pain in the forehead with frowning. Constrictive, dazing headache on vertex in fits.
Eye/Vision
Twitching in the eye. Quivering of eyeball. Staring. Distorted eyes. Open eyes turned towards different sides. Convulsively moved, projecting eyes.
Spasmodic action of the internal recti. Red, sparkling eyes. Wild look. When consciousness returned the eyes were dim and without lustre and the brain is dazed. Paralytic condition of the muscles of the eyes. Eyes so insensible that the eyelids did not wink when the cornea was touched. Contracted pupils. Very di- lated pupils, insensible to light. Disturbances of the eyes, congestion of the retina and disturbances of vision after fever. Strabismus. Diplopia. Dimness or loss of vision. Small things appear very large to him. All objects seemed to be cut into teeth or covered with points. When reading the letters appear to move. Everything seems like gold.
Ear/Hearing
Paralysis of auditory nerve. Hearing weakened or completely lost. Noises in ears before convulsions.
Face
Distorted features, risus sardonicus. Silly, laughing expression; during sleep. Twitching of the muscles of the face; when attempting to put out the tongue; of cheeks during pregnancy. Bluish, earthy complexion with open mouth.
Heat and redness in the face, which is swollen. Paleness of face. Lockjaw. Chewing motion of jaw. Burning and dryness of lips.
