Eczema capitis
Boy about one year old. Has had an eruption in patches on his head and neck for two months. The ulcers suppurate profusely, are deep, with wide red edges, tending to spread in rings. The discharge mats the hair and forms into thick scabs on the head, neck and face. All very tender to touch. Cervical lymphatic glands, swollen and hard. Various common remedies were used by the mother without having any curative effects. I prescribed Hepar 30, in solution thrice daily. In a month under this treatment alone the eruptions were all com- pletely healed.

Cough
Little boy, aged 6 years, son of a homoeopathist. Coughed during the spring and summer, worse in wet weather, took cold easily, com- plained of being cold and chilly, slight eruption on face. I gave Hepar 100.000, one powder at bed – time. He had two or three hours of restlessness during the night. The next day four or five evacuations, and in the evening an eruption was manifest on different part of the body. I saw him about ten days after taking the medicine, when he seemed to be well; his father also stated that the boy was well.

Opacity of cornea
Mary A-, 33 years of age. For three months the left cornea had been so hazy that the iris could only be seen with difficulty, and for two months the right cornea had gradually become involved from the periphery toward the centre. Both cornea were wholly opaque and vision lost. There was considerable pain in the eyes and head, with iritis. The ciliary injection was great and the dread of light exces- sive; lachrymation marked. There was no history of syphilis, but she suffered severely from rheumatic pains, particularly in the shoulder. Various remedies, high and low, had been given for two months with no avail. Under Hepar30 rapid improvement took place; in a month she was discharged with fair vision and only moderate hazi- ness of the corneae.
