Weakness of the head, extending down to the neck.
Severe tensive headache on waking from sleep, affecting the whole head, especially on the apparent surface of the brain, mostly in the occiput, without impeding thought, with painful stiffness of the neck; the more he tries to fall asleep, the worse the pain becomes.
Sensation of ‘looseness’ of the whole brain.
Dull pressure in the forehead, in the morning, after rising, worse on moving. Throbbing in the forehead.
Erysipelas beginning on forehead and spreading thence to hairy scalp and neck; vesicles also form, which become dry.
Much pressure in the occiput and nape.
Pain as if constricted, especially in the occiput toward the nape, which is worse on looking upwards, hurts as if broken.
A very violent, dull pain in the occiput, with heaviness of the head, tension, and stiffness of the neck; the pains are intolerable on walking, but are scarcely noticed while lying; during the night the pain disappears.
Many times the headaches are accompanied by numbness and stomach upset, with violent nausea with straining and retching.
Tearing pain in one side of head, in teeth and glands of throat.
Flying stitches in the left temple.
Lancinating pain in right temple, with flickering before eyes and lassitude; heaviness of eyelids.
Pain from left temple down left side of face to left shoulder; face distorted; left corner of mouth drawn inward and downward, and left lower eyelid hangs down; after catching cold.
Shooting pains, from both sides of the crown toward the middle, as if the head would burst, from the morning till 3 p.m.
Burning on the crown, in a small spot.
Oppressive headache on top of head.
A sound in the vertex like the ticking of a watch.
