Extremities
General
Bone affections stand out prominently.
The nails are crippled, likewise corrugations in the nails; the nails grow too fast and grow awkwardly; that is, they are deformed and broken, too thick in some places, and too thin in others; break easily, brittle.
There is feeble circulation in the hands and feet, and they become cold.
In the evening the extremities burn and are feverish, but in the morning and in the daytime there is coldness of the extremities.
Numbness of limbs, even when not lain on.
Burning more externally, in different places, but always on one spot.
Different aching pains in the bones of the forearms and legs about the centre, going and coming.
Sensation as if the shoulder and hip-joints were being pulled out of joint.
Felon (inflamed sores); bone caries with offensive pus.
Felon with offensive discharge; ameliorated from cold applications; phalanges swollen far above their natural size, on dorsum of finger an opening discharging ichorous pus; panaritium, also simple onychia, with ulceration; sharp sticking pain at root of right thumb-nail.
Inflammations of the index fingers, with purulent discharges and terrible pain, have been relieved.
Inflammation of bones.
Think of the remedy in bone diseases, in necrosis and caries.
Diseases of bones; particularly of long bones; caries and necrosis, especially when they are of a psoric or syphilitic nature; or from poisoning by mercury. Violent but transient jerking, burning, almost boring pains, confined to a small space.
A burning, pricking, and jerking pain in the whole left arm often returning, as if were passing a very painful, but slow electric shock.
Shoulder
Lameness in upper limbs during the night.
Numbness in upper limbs during the night.
A pain in the right shoulder-joint, extended towards the fingers.
Sudden jerking pain in the left shoulder, in the bone.
