Prolapse of the uterus.
Miscarriage.
Sterility without miscarriage.
Ferrum is occasionally indicated during pregnancy if few weeks after becoming pregnant, the woman starts to throw up her food by the mouthful.
Cough
Cough all day long, and some cough also in the evening after lying down.
In the morning on waking, much greenish, purulent expectoration of a sickly, putrid taste.
Spasmodic cough, such as we find in whooping-cough, coming on in violent paroxysms the whole night. Has to get up and walk.
In the evening after lying down the cough is dry, but on walking it is attended with expectoration.
Nocturnal coughing up of blood followed by increased tightness of chest. Haemoptysis.
Scanty, thin, frothy expectoration with streaks of blood.
Coughing up of blood on rising from bed in the morning.
Copious white purulent expectoration after slight coughing, which is increased by smoking tobacco and drinking brandy; cough worse from the abuse of brandy, tobacco or tea.
Cough after every meal, with gagging, emptying the stomach of its contents. Cough coming on after the loss of fluids, as after haemorrhage.
Chest
Pain on the chest as if it were beaten.
Pain in the chest and shooting and tension between the scapulae.
Contractile spasm on the chest and cough, only when moving and walking. Sensation of dryness and phlegm on the chest; the dryness is diminished, for a short time only, by drinking.
Oppression on the chest, as if it were constricted.
Tightening of the chest as if it were constricted; severe anxious asthma, which is aggravated by walking.
