Pain when remaining in one position, only subsiding when he moves about.
Chronic muscular rheumatism, alternating with intestinal catarrh.
Paralytic pain as from a bruise in the left arm, when at rest; much relieved by motion; without loss of muscular power.
Or else: dull but violent pain in the whole right arm, as after apoplexy; the arm is as heavy as lead, ice-cold and almost completely paralysed, with tense muscles.
Trembling of the hands in cold damp weather.
Warts cover the hands, especially at the fingers and backs of hands. Symptoms of a common cold in respiratory, intestinal or urinary tract, with warts upon hands.
Herpetic eruptions on arms, but especially on hands. Profuse sweat in the palms of the hands.
Pain in thighs, disappearing when walking, but then changing to lassitude; immediately returning while sitting. They may be of a drawing-tearing character, or there is a constant pain that is perceived now as stitching, now as throbbing, now as pinching.
Drawing in the muscles of the thighs, here and there, with soreness to touch.
A rending pain extending upward in the right tibia, in the morning. Intolerable pain of tibiae, worse at night and from rest, obliging the patient to walk the floor; most severe in damp weather.
Puffiness and swelling of the leg (but not the foot), with tensive pain and a sensation of extreme fatigue, towards evening.
Burning in feet; or else a crawling, as from ants (formication). Herpetic eruptions at knees; at feet.
Sleep
Starts as if in a fright, when falling asleep.
Restless sleep; tosses about in bed uneasily; sleep often interrupted by outbreaks of sweat and confused dreams; worse after midnight, but especially after 4 am.
Insomnia with restlessness and twitching.
Much snoring, with open mouth during sleep.
